This Land is Mine
Everywhere I set my foot
I claim in God’s name.
‘Tis He that makes my love to flow
And conquers all.
I hear His call
And life doth grow.
T’will never be the same
If I approach His mission work
With timid step
And cup so small.
I’ll not receive the inheritance
The gift He gives
When He bids of me
Take all, take all.
Dare then I shout
This is my land – I claim for Him.
The transformation within, without
I’ll walk with sturdy
Humble step,
And claim with arms stretched wide,
Then fold each child inside,
With grace and blessing,
As He gives me.
This field is mine
My work – His ministry.
